Pineapple Papaya Green uses Chinese Sencha as its base, a green tea with slender leaves that produces a yellow cup & a naturally sweet flavor. The Sencha is accompanied by pineapple pieces & colorful cornflower petals. Delight in this sensational tea! Ingredients: Sencha green tea, pineapple pieces, cornflower petals, & papaya fruit flavoring. How to brew your Tea: Put you water in a pot & bring to 170oF (not boiling), time: 2 minutes, 1/2 tsp per 8 ounces water. Use fresh filtered water when steeping black tea blends. The black tea base used for this blend has large leaves & therefore can be steeped longer than more delicate black teas (e.g. Darjeeling) or broken leaf teas. Though tea balls & strainers are often used for tea that isn’t pre-bagged, ideal methods of infusing loose leaf teas employ strainers that allow for the tea leaves to completely unfurl & release their flavor. Teapots with removable strainers for tea will allow a fuller flavor. It is worth noting, some tea enthusiasts dispense with using strainers altogether & drop leaves in the pot directly & then strain the tea when serving into cups. When employing this method be sure to pour out all tea or remaining liquid will get bitter from over-steeping. notes on tea strengthThe strength & flavor of tea is a personal experience.
