100% Linen Tea Towel, Featuring Original Barringtonia Asiatica Botanical Art By Australian Artist, Julie Mcenerny

The Barringtonia asiatica featured on this tea towel, has large pink & white flowers which bloom at night with a sweet fragrance to attract nocturnal pollinators. The flowers are found on the ground in the mornings are are an absolute joy to see. My original botanical paintings, the Offshoots Series, were painted during a residency with Cairns Botanic Gardens & are now touring nationally to Botanic Gardens & Regional Galleries. These tea towels feature the original works & are digitally printed (here in Australia) onto high quality 100% pure linen tea towels. I’ve chosen to reproduce them on pure linen because of the magical quality & sustainability of linen fibre & because linen makes the best tea towels! Nice & stiff, until they’re washed, means they look great as a gift. Once washed they soften & are really absorbent. They’re also brilliant for polishing glassware. They measure approx 500mm x 750mm & are a ‘natural’ colour. CARE: Please be aware this is a digital print & some initial colour fade may occur. in my experience this is minimal but for best results give it a quick hand wash in cold water before first use. From then on the laundry instructions on the tag can be followed. Basically that’s a cold water wash, no bleach, line dry or cool tumble dry. This listing is for one pure linen botanical tea towel. 100% Linen Tea Towel, Featuring Original Barringtonia Asiatica Botanical Art By Australian Artist, Julie Mcenerny
