This is a Medium Large version of William Morris’s Strawberry Thief print, from William Morris Studios in soft gray on eggshell white. I love this print, & seem to collect it as I have a number of color varieties in the shop. I center the print carefully front & back & line it in coordinating cotton ticking to add that extra panache of utter Englishness. I watch the birds eating berries in my brother’s garden in Nottinghamshire, & in the autumn they get drunk on the alcoholized fruit! Make sure you select the right size cozy for your teapot. Measure from farthest points carefully, tip of handle to tip of spout & then refer to the size chart that will direct you to the right size cozy for your pot. Having lived almost half my life in England, I often visited the Victoria & Albert Museum textile collection, studying the beautiful fabrics & wall paper archives.
